Recovery Road

A place for support, intelligence, resources and recovery

Oscar Wilde said this;

“Every saint has a past and every sinner has a future.”

When we make peace with our past it doesn’t spoil the present. You cannot have a better yesterday, you can have a better tomorrow.

When we worry about what others think of us, we assign our value to the judgement of others. You have as much value as you give yourself. It’s what you think of yourself that really matters.

When we have tough times, we have choices. We can keep trying to move forward, take the lessons learned and move along at our own pace. Healing takes time and action, we have to move on to get through.

You and you alone are responsible for your own happiness, waste no time searching for peace and happiness outside yourself. It’s within….search within.

Sometimes there is no answer, there never was and never will be an answer for why some things happen. And that’s OK, we don’t need all the answers to move forward. Try not to overthink just move little by little.

Smile, just a smile can, release certain chemicals in our brain to improve our mood. You can activate certain chemicals in your brain by reducing stress, anxiety, fear, guilt and anger. A simple smile can do a lot of good for you and those around you!

The Future is in front of you - move towards the future that’s where hope is.

Until next time,
